He spoke about this in his evening address.
"Today I signed an important law on national communities. We have implemented another criterion for our European integration. Additional guarantees for national communities in Ukraine, additional guarantees for our movement to the European Union," Zelenskyy announced.
This is a law that amends the existing law "On National Minorities (Communities)" and was approved by the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) on September 21.
The Law provides an updated definition of the term national minorities (communities) based on an inclusive approach and in line with the 1995 Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities.
