In addition, Trudeau and Zelenskyy discussed long-term defense cooperation and the confiscation of Russian assets.
“I had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. We discussed the program of long-term defense cooperation. I noted the beginning of the confiscation of Russian assets and called for increased sanction pressure on Russia. We agreed on common views ahead of the NATO summit and other international events,” the statement says.
