Volodymyr Zelensky was the first to announce this in his evening appeal.
"War crimes in Bucha and other cities during the Russian occupation will be the subject of consideration in the UN Security Council on Tuesday", the President of Ukraine said.
However, Dmytro Polyansky, Russia's deputy representative to the UN, later said that Russia was demanding that this meeting be held a day earlier, on Monday. He outlined the topic of the meeting as "a provocation by Ukrainian radicals".
It is not yet clear what day the meeting will take place. The schedule has not yet been updated on the Security Council website.
