Zaluzhnyi confirms Russia uses surface drones in Black Sea

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi says the Russian army does use surface drones in the Black Sea

Valerii Zaluzhnyi said this in a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley on February 11, 2023, according to the Commander-in-Chief's official Telegram channel.

“I shared my concerns about Russia's use of maritime surface drones,” Zaluzhnyi said.

According to him, this state of affairs “poses a threat to civilian navigation in the Black Sea.”

Prior to that, Russian military propaganda released video footage of an alleged attack on one of the bridge pillars in the village of Zatoka, Odesa region, which was allegedly launched by the occupying forces using a combat surface drone.

Some Ukrainian analysts called this information fake.
