Xi Jinping warns Biden about red line in US-China relations
Chinese leader Xi Jinping, during a meeting with US President Joe Biden, said that issue of Taiwan's independence is a red line in relations between the two countries

According to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during talks with Joe Biden on the sidelines of G20 summit in Bali, Xi Jinping said that Beijing would never agree to "separation of Taiwan from China."
Wang Yi said that Xi Jinping comprehensively and systematically explained origin of Taiwan issue and China's principled position, and clearly indicated that Taiwan issue is core of China's interests and core of China-US relations. It is main insurmountable red line in China-US relations.
He added that Xi Jinping called Taiwan independence incompatible with stability on both sides of Taiwan Strait.
"Chinese people will never agree with someone who wants to separate Taiwan from China", Wang Yiquoted Chinese leader.
