Zelenskyy, Orbán, Macron, and Starmer: World leaders congratulate Trump on election victory
On November 6, world leaders took to social media to congratulate Republican candidate Donald Trump on his presidential election victory
President of Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Trump on his win, calling it an "impressive election victory."
"We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership. We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States," Zelenskyy stated.
He added that Ukraine values mutual political and economic cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
"I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine's strategic partnership with the United States," he emphasized.
NATO Secretary General
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte highlighted Trump’s leadership as a pillar of the Alliance's strength.
"I look forward to working with him again to advance peace through strength through NATO," Rutte wrote.
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer extended his congratulations, expressing optimism for future collaboration.
"As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy, and enterprise. From growth and security to innovation and tech, I know that the UK-US special relationship will continue to prosper on both sides of the Atlantic for years to come," Starmer said.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán hailed Trump’s win as "the biggest comeback in U.S. political history."
"Congratulations to President Donald Trump on his enormous win. A much needed victory for the World!" Orbán emphasized.
President of France
French President Emmanuel Macron extended his early congratulations to Trump.
"Ready to continue our work together, just as we have over the four years. With our shared convictions and ambitions. For greater peace and prosperity," Macron noted.
President of Lithuania
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda described the United States as Lithuania’s key strategic ally.
"We both take our security seriously. Lithuania currently allocates 3.5% GDP to defense and will continue increasing our investment. Transatlantic unity is crucial!" he emphasized.
President of El Salvador

Chancellor of Austria
Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer congratulated Trump, underscoring the U.S. as a vital strategic partner.

President of Serbia
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić affirmed his country’s commitment to the U.S.
"Serbia is ready to work with the United States for stability, prosperity, and peace," Vučić stated.
Prime Minister of Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu celebrated Trump’s victory, calling it "history’s greatest comeback."
He noted that Trump’s win is "a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America."
