Zelenskyy discusses Peace Formula, bilateral cooperation with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in Saudi Arabia

During the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud exchanged views on the current situation in the world and possible ways to end the war in our country. 

In particular, they discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula, and, as noted in the President's Office, the Crown Prince gave valuable advice on how to accelerate the implementation of a number of its points.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud discussed the upcoming first Global Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland and possible steps to restore real security for Ukraine, the whole of Europe and all peoples of the world.

The meeting also focused on the possibilities of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia in the economic and technological spheres. The teams of the two countries were instructed to work in the respective areas.

Earlier on Tuesday, February 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Saudi Arabia. He announced this on his official Telegram channel.

"The number one topic is the Peace Formula. Last year in Jeddah, we held an effective meeting at the level of advisers on its implementation. We are now close to holding the first Peace Summit and look forward to continued active support from Saudi Arabia," Zelenskyy said of the goals of the visit.

In addition, according to the president, the return of prisoners and deportees is among the main goals.

"Saudi leadership has already contributed to the release of our people. I am confident that this meeting will bring results," Zelenskyy explained.
