BBC reports statements live from the Parliament.
Starmer announced a foreign aid cut from 0.5% to 0.3% in 2027 to boost defense spending.
While Badenoch welcomed the commitment, she said the West "hasn't done enough to support Ukraine" and must be "intensely robust" against Putin’s aggression.
"He [Putin] only comes back for more," she warned, emphasizing the need for a firm stance.
Furthermore, she stressed that Ukraine must determine its own future and have a seat at the negotiating table.
