U.S. envoy Kellogg compares Putin to Hitler, notes he is testing limits
On Saturday, September 13, U.S. presidential special envoy Keith Kellogg stated that the Russian drone attack on Polish territory was not accidental and that Vladimir Putin is expecting a response
He said this at the 21st annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES), Interfax and Ukrainska Pravda report.
“Nineteen drones entered, this cannot be accidental. There might be one wrong target, maybe two, but not nineteen,” Keith Kellogg said.
According to him, Putin is deliberately testing the limits, sending a signal and expecting a response to see how far he can go.
The special envoy emphasized that history has seen similar scenarios: under Hitler, German forces first occupied the Rhineland, then the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia, and all this went largely unchallenged.
“If you do not value this and do not respect history, you are heading toward a Third World War, whether you like it or not. And I think that is something everyone needs to understand,” he added.
- On the night of September 10, the Polish Operational Command put troops on alert due to the Russian drone incursion into the country’s airspace. Later, remnants of a missile were also discovered.
