Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha pays working visit to Hungary
On September 30, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha is paying a working visit to Hungary. There he will hold talks with his counterpart Peter Siarto
The minister's visit was announced on the Foreign Ministry's website.
It is noted that the key topics of the ministers' talks in Budapest will be the development of good neighborly relations, the implementation of joint projects, in particular in the areas of economy, border infrastructure, and the protection of the rights of national minorities.
In addition, Sybiha and Siyarto will discuss progress toward Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO, as well as the Peace Formula as a way to a just end to the war with Russia.
Following the talks, the foreign ministers will make statements to the press.
“The visit to Hungary is a continuation of the first regional tour of the newly appointed Foreign Minister, which aims to establish a pragmatic and predictable policy of good neighborliness and advancement towards the strategic goal of Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO,” the ministry added.
Later, the Foreign Ministry's press service said that the talks between the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Hungary began in Budapest in a one-on-one format.
