Ukraine's FM Kuleba embarks on African tour with some first-time visits
On Sunday, August 4, Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba will begin his fourth African tour and for the first time in history will visit Malawi, Zambia and Mauritius
The press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the information.
Kuleba's tour of African countries will last from August 4 to 8.
According to the Ministry, the fourth African tour of the Foreign Minister aims to further strengthen relations with African countries. For the first time in history, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister will visit all three countries—Malawi, Zambia, and Mauritius.
Thus, in Lilongwe, Lusaka and Port Louis, Kuleba will hold talks with the leadership of the states, foreign ministers, business and cultural circles.
"All meetings will focus on the development of bilateral relations based on mutual respect and interests. Among the key topics will be the participation of African states in global efforts to restore a just peace for Ukraine and the world. A special emphasis of the talks in Malawi will be Ukraine's important role in ensuring food security: the exchange of experience and technologies in the field of agriculture, the humanitarian program Grain From Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, in Zambia, the minister will discuss the development of bilateral relations, political dialogue and cooperation within international organizations.
In Mauritius, which is one of the most successful economies in Africa, a special topic of the meetings will be attracting investment and the participation of Mauritian businesses in the reconstruction and restoration of Ukraine.

Kuleba also recently announced that the second Global Peace Summit may be held in one of the countries of the Global South.
