Ukraine is unlikely to defeat Russia in future: foreign manipulations for April 1
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of manipulations produced by foreign media on April 1
This is reported by Espreso TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on April 1, foreign media launched three manipulations.
Manipulation: The American edition of The National Interest wrote: “It is unlikely that Ukraine will be able to defeat Russia, regain Crimea, and drive the Russians out of eastern Ukraine in the future. No amount of Western support will help achieve this outcome... But the illusion persists that the right weapons will make a difference.”
Manipulation: "The U.S. is out of air defense to give Ukraine. Another $61 billion won’t change that fact. Sue for peace before the rest of the country is destroyed," American entrepreneur David Sachs wrote on X.
Manipulation: "Many in the West don't realize that Zelenskyy and his regime are the equivalent of a wounded animal that is dying. As a result, he will fight with all his might to the bitter end, instead of surrendering," said former US Secretary of Defense Douglas Macgregor.
- On March 31, anonymous Telegram channels and some Ukrainian bloggers on social media spread a fake that Ukraine would not open its borders after the war ended and martial law would continue to be in effect.
