The Wall Street Journal reported the information.

According to two U.S. officials, the missiles could reach Ukraine in about six weeks.

The supply is funded mostly by European allies. The package also includes other equipment. The delay in approval was tied to Trump’s summits with Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Officials said Kyiv must get permission from the Pentagon to use the ERAMs, which have a range of 150 to 280 miles (240 to 450 km).

In June, the Pentagon introduced a “green,” “yellow,” and “red” system to classify U.S. arms stocks, the WSJ reported.

Green means plenty of supply and easy transfer to Ukraine, while yellow and red mark shortages. This let Defense Secretary Hegseth demand the return of weapons for Ukraine that fell into yellow and red.

  • Earlier this week, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said Europe would have to bear the “lion’s share” of the financial burden for Ukraine’s security.
