Transnistrian conflict should be resolved only peacefully - Moldovan President Sandu
Moldovan President Maia Sandu said she was not ready to resolve the issue of Russia-occupied Transnistria by military means
She said this in an interview with Yuriy Dud.
"For us, the Transnistrian conflict can only be resolved peacefully," the president emphasized, adding that even if there was a proposal to "knock the peacekeepers out of Transnistria," she would not accept it. - "Peace is very important to us."
In addition, the head of state denied rumors that Ukraine offered Moldova a military intervention in the Russian-occupied territory.
"There have never been any official statements. Despite what we have read, what some people have said in the media, I am officially and responsibly telling you that there was no such proposal," Sandu summarized.
