He announced this on Facebook.

According to him, EU foreign ministers are discussing a financial aid package for Ukraine worth at least 20 billion euros.

"We won’t be dragged into this, and we won’t let Hungarian taxpayers' money fund arms deliveries to Ukraine," Szijjártó stated.

At the same time, he emphasized Hungary’s support for peace talks.

"Thanks to President Trump, hope for peace hasn’t been this close in three years. That’s why Brussels’ attempts to block negotiations are unacceptable," he added.

  • Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has put forward 12 demands to the EU — one of them: "Union, but without Ukraine."
