This information comes from Sky News.
The South Korean Defense chief made this announcement during a press conference shortly after his country's military reported North Korea's launch of short-range ballistic missiles into its eastern waters.
The United States and South Korea previously accused North Korea of providing Russia with shells and military aid, a claim denied by Pyongyang and Moscow.
Shin noted that initially, North Korea relied on ships to transport military equipment to Russia, but later increasingly used railways for deliveries.
Additionally, South Korea's defense minister suggested that Pyongyang likely received over 9,000 aid containers in return for military assistance.
- On February 27, South Korean Defense Minister Shin Won Sik reported that Russia had received approximately 6,700 containers from North Korea, enough to hold around 3 million artillery shells.
