Russia considers Georgia its region - Ukrainian National Guard Reserve Major Hetman on new threats

Oleksiy Hetman, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Major with the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU), speaks on whether Georgia could become Russia’s next victim

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan says that there should be no borders between Russia, Armenia and Georgia. That is, Russians already believe that these countries are the Caucasus regions of the Russian Federation," said Hetman.

Russia will try to extend threats to Moldova and Georgia as well, said the NGU reserve major.

"Russian propagandists have been saying that if they could make a corridor by land to Armenia, the situation in the Caucasus would be completely different. They say that Armenia would have behaved completely differently," he said.

According to him, the situation with the Suwalki corridor - Lithuania and Poland - is also threatening to some extent.

"So far, the Poles have not yet realized that we will most likely have to be in the same trench. It is not clear what they are doing on the border today. And as for Lithuania, even if there is a German contingent there, as they say, they will not be able to put up the kind of resistance we are doing," he added.
