Putin increases Russian army personnel by 180,000 soldiers
Russian leader Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to increase the number of Russian military personnel by 180,000 to 2,389,000

This was reported by the propaganda outlet RIA Novosti.
According to the document, starting December 1, 2024, the army will increase by 180,000 personnel, bringing the total number to 2,389,130.
In addition, Putin instructed the government to allocate money from the Russian budget to the Ministry of Defense for the maintenance of these servicemen.
The last increase in Russian army manpower occurred in December 2023, when it was expanded by 170,000 personnel to a total of 2,209,130, including 1,320,000 military personnel.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian authorities are not discussing a new mobilization in the country.
