Neither Putin nor Lukashenko will be allowed to attack EU country — Ukrainian MP
Ukrainian lawmaker Valentyn Nalyvaichenko says that NATO and EU countries have secured themselves against any attempts by Putin to threaten them
He discussed this live on Espreso.
"They will not allow Lukashenko, nor Putin, to stage an attack, or even fake one, against an EU country. I can confirm this because I communicate daily with European partners. NATO aviation is on combat duty in Estonia and not only, 24/7. Any attempt to strike, even at the guidance stage, will be shot down immediately by NATO aircraft and missiles. The Baltic states, which border Russia and Belarus, are part of the Alliance," he said.
According to him, the UK has maintained a naval and air alliance with Northern European countries for years. This includes the Baltic states, as well as Finland and Sweden, which recently joined NATO, completely shifting the geopolitical landscape. In other words, NATO and EU countries have shielded themselves from Putin’s threats.
"For Ukraine, the priority is more modern aviation, advanced missiles for defense, and stronger air defense systems. We’re moving in that direction, explaining to our American and European partners that Ukraine, along with the EU and NATO, must act on this without delay," Nalyvaichenko added.
