Latvia allocates nearly €10 million aid package for Ukraine's Armed Forces and reconstruction efforts
The Latvian government, on Wednesday, April 3, approved a comprehensive aid package totaling almost €10 million for Ukraine in 2024. The funds are earmarked for the reconstruction of Ukraine and to support its Armed Forces

The aid package includes €5.3 million for Ukraine's reconstruction efforts and €4.3 million to bolster the Armed Forces through the European Peace Fund.
Member of Parliament Olena Kondratiuk highlighted Latvia's commitment to the restoration and reconstruction of the Chernihiv region.
As outlined by Kondratiuk, the government's 2024 plan involves reconstructing social infrastructure facilities, providing psychological assistance to women, promoting digitalization, offering consultations on territorial planning, and facilitating integration into the EU.
- Additionally, in March, the Lithuanian Finance Minister announced that Lithuania would allocate €5 million to support the reconstruction of schools and kindergartens in Ukraine.
