RIA Novosti reports.
According to Peskov, the Kremlin did not have the opportunity to follow the debates between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. However, Moscow reviewed the statements published in the media.
"Of course, we noticed that both candidates mentioned our president and our country. The position is clear - the United States maintains a negative, unfriendly attitude towards our country. Putin's name is being used as a tool in the internal political battles in the U.S. We don't like this at all, and we hope they will leave our president alone," Peskov stated.
- U.S. presidential candidates Kamala Harris, a Democrat, and Donald Trump, a Republican, faced off in their first debate on September 11.
