According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on April 4, foreign media launched two fakes and one manipulation.
Disinformation: American economist Jeffrey Sachs said: “We (the United States) do not support Ukraine. We have paid for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to go to the front and die for more and more territory to be lost.”
Manipulation: "The fundamental key problem with this war in Ukraine is that Ukraine's defeat is inevitable, and it's only a matter of time," said Canadian journalist Aaron Maté.
Disinformation: Former US Secretary of Defense Douglas Macgregor said: "Remember that Kharkiv, like Odesa, are historically Russian cities, and in the fall of 2023, we were made very clear that these cities will become Russian again, just as it has been obvious since the fall of 2022. So rest assured, these cities will return to Russian control.”
