Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Kyiv
On August 23, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the capital of Ukraine

According to him, the official purpose of the visit is to strengthen economic ties. However, one of the key topics of the talks is the Peace Formula.
"I look forward to the opportunity to build upon earlier conversations with President Zelenskyy on strengthening bilateral cooperation and share perspectives on peaceful resolution of the ongoing Ukraine conflict," Modi had said before leaving Delhi, NDTV reports.
This is the first visit by an Indian prime minister to Ukraine since the country gaining independence in 1991.
Meeting with Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that he and Modi had honored the memory of children whose lives were taken by Russian aggression.
"Children of every country deserve to be safe. We must make it possible," the president wrote.
