Artillery shells, drones, rifles: Germany announces new military aid package for Ukraine

On Wednesday, 10 April, Germany handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine, including artillery shells, rifles, demining equipment and reconnaissance drones

According to the German government website, the new military support package includes:

Germany provides assistance to Ukraine through supplies from the Federal Armed Forces and industry financed by the federal government.

On March 19, during the Ramstein meeting, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced a new €500 million military aid package for Ukraine, which includes 10,000 rounds of artillery ammunition from the Bundeswehr stockpile, 100 units of armored vehicles, and 100 units of transport.

The previous package of military aid from Germany, consisting of drones, ammunition, and all-terrain vehicles, arrived at the end of March. It included ammunition for Leopard 2 A6 tanks, 155 mm caliber shells, drones, evacuation vehicles, and more.
