EU countries now supply more than 50% of Ukraine's ammunition needs – Kallas
European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas stated that European countries now provide more than half of Ukraine's ammunition needs, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently estimated at 2 million shells

This was reported by Reuters.
"These things are moving very well (...) we need to get the help to Ukraine as fast as possible. President Zelenskyy has said that they need five billion to have at least two million rounds," Kallas said ahead of the EU defense ministers' summit in Warsaw.
According to her, the EU already has several proposals in place, and different countries are contributing, so they already have more than 50% of what is needed.
- Earlier, it was reported that on April 3-4, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha will visit NATO headquarters in Brussels. The meeting will focus on Ukraine’s military needs and continued support.
