Biden vs Trump: only one will survive
At 10 a.m. Washington time (yesterday, 5 p.m. Kyiv time), Republican primary candidate Nikki Haley announced her withdrawal from the campaign
Trump is left alone.
But in this whole election process, there is an overwhelming feeling that the two teams absolutely benefit from the rivalry in the current format - Biden-Trump.
Each side has its own reasons. Trump's team will talk about Biden's advanced age, while Biden's team will appeal to Trump's numerous violations of the law.
Biden will talk about abortion, Trump will talk about migrants.
Biden will use his existing administrative resources, while Trump will seek support from celebrities.
“Today, the chances of each of them winning are 50/50.”
And in this confrontation, even personally, it is difficult to root for someone living outside the United States. Because we perceive these people in the current moment, exclusively through the prism of our help and support. And each of them has a huge list of both unfulfilled hopes and strong steps.
And at this stage, no one can tell you which of these candidates for a new term will be more motivated to help us (or to donate to us). No one knows what the next term of their presidency will be like. Including themselves.
