Russian FSB representatives kill 49-year-old Belarusian citizen, suspected of opposing Alexander Lukashenko's dictatorship and alleged terror plotting

It is noted that the victim was 49-year-old Mykola Alekseev.

According to Astra, the activist was killed on March 6 in the Olonets district of the Republic of Karelia. According to the official version of the Russian investigation, Alekseev allegedly resisted during his arrest and was killed. He was suspected of preparing to blow up the administration building in the city of Olonets.

It is known that the activist participated in the protests in Belarus in 2020, protesting against the official results of the presidential elections. He also posted on social media about human rights violations in Belarus. The circumstances under which Alekseev ended up in Russia are unknown.
