Zelenskyy-Trump meeting underway at White House
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the White House. He was welcomed by U.S. President Donald Trump

The leaders of Ukraine and the United States have already begun a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office.
Trump emphasized that he is working on a lasting peace — one that will endure not for 2 years, but much longer. Zelenskyy thanked Donald Trump for his efforts and for his desire to stop the war.
He also conveyed gratitude to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump for delivering a letter to Putin about abducted children. Zelenskyy additionally handed over a letter to the U.S. First Lady from Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska.
Trump stated that if there is progress today, the parties will agree on a trilateral meeting between Zelenskyy, Trump, and Putin. Zelenskyy also confirmed his readiness for trilateral meetings.
