Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and American leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner will participate in a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing regarding Ukraine in Paris
This information was confirmed by a White House representative, reports Radio Liberty.
The meeting will take place tomorrow in the French capital, on January 6.
What is the Coalition of the Willing?
The Coalition of the Willing is an informal alliance of countries supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia. The initiative emerged at the beginning of this year when European countries, led by France and Great Britain, decided to intensify efforts to ensure Ukraine's security against the backdrop of Donald Trump's unpredictable policies.
The coalition consists primarily of NATO countries such as France, Great Britain, Poland, the Baltic states, Denmark, and the Netherlands, as well as partners from outside the Alliance, including Australia, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting with national security advisors from the Coalition of the Willing countries on January 3 in Ukraine. The negotiations will then continue at the leadership level on January 6 in France.
