U.S. envoy Kellogg to visit Ukraine for “tough diplomacy” — U.S. State Department
U.S. Special Representative for Russia and Ukraine Keith Kellogg plans to visit Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine from February 13 to 22
The U.S. State Department reports this.
Kellogg will visit Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine to advance President Donald Trump's goal of ensuring peace through strength in Ukraine and upholding U.S. national security interests.
The special envoy is expected to participate in the Munich Security Conference and visit NATO and EU headquarters in Brussels, where he will meet with allies and partners across Europe.
In Ukraine, Kellogg will meet with government officials and private individuals who, according to the State Department, have bravely endured nearly three years of war.
"President Trump has made it clear that the fighting needs to stop, and the United States is ready to support a durable solution. Special Presidential Envoy Kellogg is committed to carrying out the tough diplomacy it will take to achieve the President’s objective," the statement added.
- Keith Kellogg plans to present options for ending the war in Ukraine to the U.S. president in the coming weeks.
