Andrii Sybiha wrote about this on the social media platform X.
“I reiterated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s commitment to advancing peace efforts and informed our partners about the latest developments on the battlefield and at the diplomatic front,” the Ukrainian minister said.
He added that together with the partners, they coordinated the next steps, continued cooperation with the United States, and pursued efforts to ensure long-term peace and security in Ukraine and across Europe.
“I emphasized that pressure on Moscow must be raised in order to force peace — and that this must come hand in hand with the strengthening of Ukraine. I am grateful to France, Germany, and Poland for their steadfast support,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister concluded.
Sibiga later held a separate meeting with French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot. The diplomats coordinated efforts to advance the peace process.
“We discussed steps to increase the price of war for the aggressor, including tougher sanctions against Russia and additional support for Ukraine. I am grateful to France for supporting Ukraine, strengthening Europe and protecting our common values,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.
