Fedorov wrote about this on Telegram.
According to him, Ukraine's Defense Ministry contacted SpaceX and proposed solutions to the problem of Russia using terminals for its drones.
"I'm grateful to SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell and personally to Elon Musk for their quick response and for beginning work on resolving the situation. Elon Musk's decision to urgently activate Starlink and send the first batch of terminals to Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion was critically important for our state's resilience," the minister emphasized.
InformNapalm stated the day before that despite Western sanctions, Starlink terminals are being supplied to Russia through parallel import schemes using third countries.
- On January 28, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski appealed to American billionaire Elon Musk regarding information that the Russian army is increasingly using Starlink terminals in its drones to attack Ukraine.
