Oleksandr Kraiev, an expert at the Foreign Policy Council Ukrainian Prism, stated this on Espreso TV.

"Unfortunately, he may take the risk (Trump may risk running for a third presidential term - ed.). And by the way, regarding the health of public figures, I always like to repeat: if you don't want someone digging through your medical records, don't become president of the United States, or simply don't enter the public sphere. In the public sphere, that's it, you're an open book, be prepared to be read. Trump really does have problems - everyone talks about that hand, which may indicate problems with the circulatory system. Everyone talks about the swollen legs, about him starting to ramble. He's starting to repeat himself even more, he falls asleep, and moreover falls asleep every 40 minutes during major meetings. So however we feel about him, without judgment, really, without ageism, this interferes with his ability to perform his duties simply from the standpoint of effectiveness. If a person shuts down every 40 minutes, excuse me, how can he be president of the United States?" he noted.

Oleksandr Kraiev pointed out that in the United States, Donald Trump's lawyers are spinning the conversation about his possible third term.

"He has now become what he hated most (Joe Biden - ed.). A sleepy politician who forgets where he's going, whose hand he shook, forgets people's names. So yes, it's unfortunate, but he will want to run for a third term. You know, I'm very concerned about his rhetoric and the rhetoric of his lawyers, because okay, Trump, but the lawyers who understand the law. Some of them are launching very interesting narratives. They say: 'Well, look, he didn't lose the 2020 election, did he? He didn't lose. So Biden stole it. But even if Biden stole it, then essentially, Donald J. Trump was president. Therefore, he served two presidential terms and after that the American people still voted for him. Which means this is already a third term. Which means, essentially, common law comes into effect. Therefore, the two-term rule doesn't apply, because the people had their say and allowed Donald Trump. So the people had their say, and we're America, we're for democracy, so he's now in his third term. And then we'll see about a fourth.' This is already being launched into the discourse. If previously these were jokes that the Democratic media would immediately jump on and say: 'How can you? We're a democracy, we're a normal system.' Now this is being let slide. And that's the problem. You know, when something marginal and very dangerous, through jokes, through mentions, through individual articles, starts to enter the mainstream. So I can't say definitively whether he'll run for a third term. But this conversation is already starting to gain traction," said the international expert.
