Russia reports talks between U.S., Russian foreign intelligence chiefs

The Russian propaganda outlet RIA Novosti reports this.
The outlet noted that the American and Russian officials discussed the cooperation of intelligence agencies on areas of mutual interest and the resolution of crisis situations over the phone.
"An agreement was reached to maintain regular contacts to promote international stability and security, as well as reduce confrontation in Moscow-Washington relations," the report states.
The Central Intelligence Agency did not comment on the information.
