British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed to deliver a unified message on Ukraine during their meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump this week

The Times reported the information, citing sources.

During a round of intense international diplomacy marking the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Macron and Starmer agreed to coordinate their approach and influence Trump’s plan for ending the war in Ukraine.

According to the outlet's sources, global security is facing a “critical moment.”

The report states that the French leader held separate talks with the U.S. president today, while the British prime minister will visit the White House on Thursday, February 27.

Diplomatic sources emphasize that both Starmer and Macron will try to persuade Trump not to engage in bilateral negotiations with Russia in exchange for European commitments regarding Ukraine’s future security.

Earlier, a spokesperson for Keir Starmer stated that the British prime minister would visit Washington next week for a meeting with Donald Trump, though no specific date was given.
French President Emmanuel Macron noted that Trump could resume a productive dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
On February 20, the White House announced that Donald Trump would host French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer this week.
