He said it during his speech at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
"Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine violates all principles of the UN Charter. No country should veto the sovereign choice of a democratic state. Our collective duty is solidarity with Ukraine in these tough times," Nauseda emphasized.
He believes that restoring Ukraine's territorial integrity is crucial for achieving peace and insists that Russia must "completely cease its aggression and withdraw all troops and military equipment from Ukraine."
"Justice demands holding Russia accountable for its crimes under the UN Charter. We propose establishing a special international tribunal to ensure this," Nauseda urged summit participants to support the initiative.
- The Global Peace Summit's second day commenced on Sunday, June 16, in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, focusing on food security, nuclear disaster prevention, and the repatriation of displaced children.
