'45 messages a day rule': political analyst on Trump’s first 100 days
The head of the board of the Institute of World Policy, Viktor Shlinchak, believes that the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency were a lot of hot air
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"(The first 100 days of Trump’s presidency were really just a lot of hot air.) I read the memoirs of Trump’s team after his first term, and they mentioned a principle that I think Trump still follows: 45 messages a day. These are the very statements we listened to—those that late sleepers fell asleep to, and early risers woke up to," he said.
Viktor Shlinchak believes that during these 100 days of Trump’s presidency, the focus of attention shifted to the actions of the new President of the United States.
"I understand that on the one hand, it was very important for us to hear what people think and how much the United States has changed after the old administration left and the new one came in. On the other hand, it seems to me that during these 100 days, we paid less attention to what was happening in Russia and on the front lines than to what was happening in the White House itself," the political scientist noted.
- On April 30, U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a one-and-a-half-hour speech in Michigan to mark his first 100 days in office.
