Secretary General spokesman Stephane Dujarric has given the details in his statement.
"This attack is yet another reminder that in this war, as in so many other conflicts, it is civilians that pay the highest price," said Dujarric.
The Secretary General said that "civilians and civilian infrastructure must always be spared in times of war."
He added that the war must end and peace must be established in line with international law.
The UN and its partners continue to provide support to those whose lives were destroyed by war.
Dujarric never mentioned Russia being guilty of the bombing.
