"New M270 missile launcher systems have arrived in Ukraine from Great Britain. These systems can be called the "elder brother" of the HIMARS surface-to-air missile. The M270 surface-to-air missile can launch 12 missiles at the same time. Yesterday, British Minister Ben Wallace announced the supply of such surface-to-air missiles, and today this information was confirmed by the Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov," Zgurets wrote.
The expert noted that Ukraine now has 25 HIMARS and M270 surface-to-air missiles, which can simultaneously destroy 204 targets at a distance of 80 km. However, if Ukraine receives ATACMS missiles, the distance to hit the enemy will increase to 300 km.
