Western weapons work well in Ukraine: military warehouses in Russia's rear are ablaze - expert Zgurets

"In the last one to one and a half weeks, we have seen about 15 enemy munitions depots or bases that have been destroyed deep behind their defensive lines. This is just an indication that those individual weapons that are slowly trickling in, and are, we think, are having a noticeable result," noted Zgurets.

The analyst emphasized that a component of the tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war with Russia is the use of modern weapons to deliver pinpoint strikes.

"Even the howitzers, which arrived earlier, made it possible to restrain the Russian offensive in Donbas and inflict significant losses on the occupiers. As the situation in Melitopol, Snizhne and Donetsk shows, where Russian warehouses are beginning to move, at this stage the effective use of new types of weapons is a component of the tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," noted Zgurets.
