This was announced by the head of the UN, Antonio Guterres, writes Reuters.
In his report to the Security Council, the head of the UN said regarding the allegations in the investigation of downed Russian drones: "The Secretariat is examining the available information. Any findings will be reported to the Security Council, as appropriate, in due course."
The publication writes that Britain, Germany and France this week asked Guterres to inform about plans to send UN experts to Ukraine. Russia also wrote back to Guterres twice, accusing the trio of violating the UN Charter in an attempt to influence the UN chief.
Asked whether UN experts are planning a visit to Ukraine, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric refused to comment.
