Norway to provide Ukraine with over $45 million worth of mortar ammunition
Norway will provide Ukraine with ammunition for 81-mm mortars worth about 480 million Norwegian kroner (over $45 million)

"Ukraine's need for firepower is extensive and urgent. We have now donated 81mm bomb launcher ammunition for a value of approximately NOK 480 million," said Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.
The report says that 81-mm mortars typically have a range of 5-6 kilometers and help heavy artillery at shorter distances.
The Norwegian government also noted that the country had recently transferred hand grenades worth NOK 50 million and sniper ammunition worth NOK 3 million to Ukraine.
- The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that the country would allocate EUR 240 million to Ukraine for air defense measures.
