The Guardian reported the information.

Speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, he noted that he was referring exclusively to public reports, not internal government information.

At the same time, he emphasized the significance of the Tomahawk, noting that it is a “very advanced missile system,” and if it were permitted for use, it would “change the dynamics of any military conflict,” as it adds another layer of “uncertainty” due to its capabilities.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, the general said that the public reports indicated that President Zelenskyy had raised the issue of Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine during his meeting with President Trump at the United Nations General Assembly in New York the previous week, and that there had been no comments on whether it would happen, though the reports confirmed that a request had been made.

Kellogg stressed that the final decision will be made by President Trump.

“But no decision has been made,” he added.

  • The U.S. Special Representative to Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, stated that American leader Donald Trump has authorized strikes on Russian territory with long-range weapons.
  • Manhattan University professor Igor Aizenberg believes that General Keith Kellogg was speaking about strikes with ATACMS missiles deep inside Russia, not sea-based Tomahawk missiles. Currently, the U.S. has only two land-based launchers for Tomahawk missiles.
