"Russia is not proving that it truly wants peace, as it continues to strike Ukrainian territory day after day, including civilian targets… Russia confirms that it is continuing its war," Macron stated.

He emphasized that the new military aid package is designed to meet the immediate needs of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

According to Macron, the package will include Milan anti-tank missiles, air defense systems, Mica missiles, and Mirage fighter jets.

"These are also the means that will help Ukraine hold the front: armored vehicles, ammunition… and the production of military equipment in Ukraine through partnerships between our defense enterprises," he added.

  • On March 9, French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu announced a €195 million military aid package for Ukraine, funded by interest from frozen Russian assets.
