She said this in an interview with CNN.
According to Le Pen, the Prime Minister from her party would not permit Ukraine to use French long-range missiles to target Russian territory.
"If Emmanuel Macron wants to send troops to Ukraine, and the Prime Minister is against it, then troops will not be sent to Ukraine. The Prime Minister has the final say," she said.
Le Pen also emphasized that her only "red line" regarding Ukraine is that France should not become an "accomplice to the conflict" by allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use long-range missiles from Paris to strike Russia.
CNN notes that most Western leaders do not consider such authorization to be participation in the war.
- On June 30, the first round of parliamentary elections was held in France, with the far-right National Rally party winning.
- More than 200 candidates withdrew from the second round of early elections to prevent the far-right party from forming an absolute majority in parliament.
