We expect Ukraine to receive invitation to NATO at Vilnius summit – Stefanchuk
Parliament speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk says Ukraine expects to be invited to join NATO in July 2023, during the NATO summit in Vilnius
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, shared the information on the United News national telethon during the broadcast from the Munich Security Conference.
"We expect that at the Vilnius summit Ukraine will receive such an invitation (to NATO - ed.) and will begin our way to the Alliance," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
He added that among the discussions at the Munich Security Conference are issues "related to the invitation of Ukraine to NATO."
In particular, according to the parliament speaker, the main topic is the supply of weapons to Ukraine as soon as possible.
The NATO summit will be held in Vilnius on July 11 to 12, 2023.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he expected Ukraine to join the EU in the next 2 years, and to join NATO after winning the war with Russia.
