"The Russian Federation is committing crimes against humanity - it is bombing residential areas of Chernihiv. Unable to overcome the resistance of Ukrainian troops, the Russian invader army has been committing terrorist acts against the inhabitants of Ukraine in recent days. For 3 days in a row, it has been carrying out airstrikes on residential areas of the city and social facilities", he wrote.
Chaus noted that Russian troops are using indiscriminate weapons against Chernihiv - FAB-500 unguided bombs.
"Usually, such weapons are used against military-industrial facilities and fortifications. And in Chernihiv - against residential areas", the head of the UVA said.
He added that three unexploded bombs were found today at the crash site of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber that was shot down by air defenses.
