Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin declared suspect by Prosecutor General’s Office
Russian Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin was served a notice of suspicion, he is charged with violation the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and waging an aggressive war
It was announced by Andriy Kostin, Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
"It's time to stop the bloody Russian tours under the name of a famous composer," he wrote.
Thus, the Prosecutor General's Office informed Prigozhin about the suspicion.
Investigation established that he recruited, trained, and managed individuals to further bring them to participate in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
"The head of the PMC is directly responsible for thousands of war crimes. He openly admits his role in waging war against Ukraine and, with Kremlin permission, restocks personnel by recruiting tens of thousands of prisoners. Previously convicted of robbery, today he is a Russian hero. He is a part of the terrorist regime criminal elite,” Andriy Kostin said.
Prosecutor General's Office press service also informed that Prigozhin is charged with violation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and waging an aggressive war. (Part 3 of Article 110, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Prosecutor General assured that PMC mercenaries will also be punished: "Prosecutors have already conducted interrogations of two mercenaries currently in the EU. Another PMC soldier is currently in Norway, and an investigation of his war crimes involvement is also ongoing. A corresponding investigation request will soon be sent to our Norwegian colleagues."

According to British intelligence, there are nearly 50 000 Wagner PMC mercenaries on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
