Zelenskyy: if U.S. supplies long-range weapons, Ukraine will use them to strike Russia
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if the United States provides long-range weapons, Ukrainian forces will be able to strike deep into Russia
He made the remarks in an interview with Axios.
When asked whether he feels the U.S. is withholding a green light to use American long-range systems against targets in Russia, Zelenskyy replied: “Honestly, if we have such weapons from the U.S., we will use them.”

He stressed that, despite anger over Russian killings, Ukrainians are not terrorists.
“All our people understand that we must not attack civilians. We know the rules of this war — we will strike military targets. But if they impose blackouts on us, and we receive long-range weapons, we will target their energy infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, he indicated that Russian power centers, including the Kremlin, are among potential targets.
"They have to know where the bomb shelters are. They need it. If they do not stop the war, they will need it in any case," the Ukrainian leader said.
"Russian officials in the Kremlin have to know that we will answer. If they attack us, we will attack them," he added.
