Zelenskyy: Every commander must remember people are not expendables
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine must do everything to protect the lives and health of Ukrainian soldiers
He said this at the annual international congress on military medicine and mental health “Warrior: Life, Health, Combat Capability,” the Presidential Office reports.
According to him, the defense of the state is a two-way movement, so those who defend Ukraine must know that the state protects them. Zelenskyy emphasized that this is the difference between Ukrainians and Russian occupation forces.
“Russia disregards its people, does not fight for their survival. Instead, Ukraine must do everything to protect life, especially the life and health of its soldiers,” the president said.
He also added that supporting and protecting Ukrainian soldiers is also a weapon. Zelenskyy emphasized that every commander should remember that people are not expendables.
